Now, getting back to the loop. The next step is the one that becomes a life changer. Actions. In our world, the only way anything happens is through actions. Not intentions. Not ideas. Not planning. Actions alone are capable of building a better life. Actions alone are capable of upgrading your operating system. It’s the action of placing that cold call that can grow your business. The action of saying “I love you” that takes the relationship to the next level. The action of running that helps you get in better shape. The action of making the “big ask” that moves the needle for something important. People fail to comprehend the simplicity of this fact and the power it holds. At the base of everything is a truth that the only thing separating you from where you are now and the next level of what you desire is simply a collection of actions.

These actions you take are fueled by the previous levels. Your identity leads to your beliefs that drive your thoughts. Thoughts that turn into feelings. Most importantly, it’s the feelings that directly trigger your actions. If you feel bold and confident, then you take bold and confident actions. If you feel unworthy, incapable, or scared, then the ensuing actions won’t happen in a bold manner.

Now ask yourself this: When in your life have you taken poor actions that resulted in something incredible happening for your life? I can’t recall a single time personally, and that’s the law of actions in effect. I don’t believe we should be rewarded at a high level for when we don’t take action at a high level. It’s your actions, and your actions alone, that have the power to change your life. As long as you take actions below the level your dream demands, you don’t have the right to be upset when you can’t elevate your life.
